About the only thing I'd agree with in this article, is about the Burbies moving out to the country, and posting their land!
Some areas of the Texas Hill Country are being invaded by retirees, and Yuppies, because of the climate! Some of these small towns, used to cater to the HUNTERS! Now, you can go to their chamber of commerce web sites, and hunting is not even mentioned!

Guns, and hunting, DO have some REAL enemies!

I think he missed a big part of the reason for the possible decline in the number of hunters in the woods (maybe on purpose) and that's more strict and sometimes ridiculous gun laws in some states. Making it harder and more expensive to get a gun license turns people off from the start. Like I said though, he may have left that out on purpose since it's an entirely different issue.

He was on the mark with the "Walt Disney never drew a baby bass." comment for sure. Walt Disney is, and always has been, our biggest enemy.

Never really liked the magazine, except the swimsuit issue[8D].
This is a classic example of something written by someone who isn't involved in the sport. He obviously spent no more than 5 minutes doing his research before attacking his word processor. Typical of todays media.
