Backpacking! Try to get rid of this spare tire I grew while sitting on my a$$ in a deer stand for 3 months

Indiana season is over, but I can still hunt in Kentucky until sunday. I have been out a couple of times where I turkey huntto take out some yotes. For some reason I just can't get into fishing mode. I just can't wait for Turkey season to start.

Head up to Devils lake ice fishing. Also reloading for next year.

I went out yesterday to do a bit of post season scouting, and I learned one thing...not only did I hunt in the wrong areas, I am dumb! found over 100 rubs, and a fifth of those were on just one acre. this buck was rubbing trees I couldn't get my hands around. saw him three times...next year will be his last as I found a spot where I'll be sitting on the ground at the base of his bedroom.

All of the above except for ice fishing (no ice this year). January is my hibernation mode. I get big, fat, and uglier enjoying my much needed rest before the sheet hits the fan again. Febuary rolls around and it's back to practicing & work 12 -14 hours a day 7 days a week.
