Default first deer this season

Yesterday i killed a 175 pound spike. it was like a 75 yard shot. i also saw 3 other bucks: button buck, half a rack, & a small spike. it had a 8 inch spread, the biggest spread i saw on a spike. we are losing the property to builders, so i killed this one for meat, considering the only piece of land around besides ours is a wildlife refuge where u cant hunt. the season doesnt end till febrary 16, so i will be waiting for a bigger buck to kill next. just informing everyone of how my season is going. he is my 3rd buck.

now that i have shot 3 bucks, i figured i will wait untill a big six or eight comes by. midterms this week so i get out at 12:00 so i got plenty of hunting time. also, i wanted to let everyone know that when we cut him open to field-dress him, he had a large growth on the inside of him by his heart. it was filled with white puss. it had the consistancy of ranch dressing. it was pretty sick. it was slightly larger than a golf ball in size.
