i was wondering what camo patterns you guys use. im starting to not really like the traditional favorites (mossy oak, advantage, realtree). i think that they tend to be too dark for the types of trees i have the privledge of hunting. i also dont like the shadows that are part of the camo...it doesnt make any sense to me. i like that diamondback camo and that "natural-something" camo they advertise on here, and patterns like that, but i dont know where to find it.
what are ya'lls opinions?

I agree with you on the too dark and unrealistic for my enviroment on the traditional patterns. We have a lot of popular, birch, willows, etc so a lot of lines, browns, blacks and white. All i use is predator, I have found it be the best for my location. I use fall grey and fall brown, works awesome. If this sounds like your area, check out predator @ www.predatorcamo.com. They also have some newer patterns that might work, like evolution and deception. I believe lines are the key to concealment to break up your outline, other camos seem to believe in blend in technology, which doesn't work every where and not here. As luck would have so does Predator.

I've been real happy with the "outfitter" pattern found in the Berber Line in Cabela's. Not real anytype of pattern - just a bunch of dull muted earth colors. Has a lot of depth to the material and color.

I like the Natural Gear (Natgear) I've been using it for several years now and it really works good for me. I've never used the Predator or ASAT but they both look like good camo but for now i'll stick with the Natgear!

I'm not a huge fanatic of camo nor do I find it that necessary for the hunting that I do. However, when I do get around to buying new hunting clothes, I normally get the Advantage Timber because that is what the store carries a lot of where I go shopping.
