They're antlers so thats what I call them. I don't EVER remember calling them horns. I never thought much of it but it does aggravate me when people call whitetail deer antlers, horns.

Yall are crazy, they are antlers but like others have said why trip about it.. I've called them horns many of times but I know they are antler... ie.. look at them herns on that deer right there..[8D]
It's kinda like a truck.. some people, knowing it is a truck, will say things like "it's in my car".. so what if they called the truck a car..

There is one situation similar to this that used to chap my hide.. I used to drive a Jeep Wrangle and others that had things like the Geo Tracker and what not would call them Jeeps too,[:@] that pissed me off a little.. Just because it was disrespect to compare junk to a Jeep..

and what about dip, " I need to stop and get me some dip".. uhh, it's smokeless tobacco. Dip is an action word meaning to dunk and thats it..

Yall see the "interesting philosophy" thread here.. it talks about a VA shop havving a sign and employees that call them horns.. I wonder if anyone ever complained?

Question: If your shop that you knew gave you your meat and was the best in town called them horns would you quit using them? Of course this question is for the anals only..

My hunting truck is a 1983 full size Bronco. To me it sounds silly to refer to it as an SUV. To me there is nothing SUV about an old Bronco. Especially my old swamp cruiser.
