I killed my first deer and javelina at chaparral also! It's a great place and is in no way a canned hunt, the land was fenced in when it was donated to the state, but with 15000 acres it doesn't really matter. There are some whopper bucks there, but I'm assuming ya'll were on the anlerless/spike hunt. Great Job
