Not to critize you but did he shoot all of them in a cage? Cause the last one i see a fence, no offense buts that not hunting its like shooting fish in a barrel. I know i will probably get torn up for saying this but, u probably wanted him to get something so he wouldnt loose interset right? Well whats gona happen when you take him out were there is no fences and he dont see anything let alone kill anything? Im happy you got to share it with him and he did get somethign, its wonderfull i just dont like the fence part.
Yes this was a 15000 acre barrell.

Your son did a great job. I think the first pic. is pretty funny though. Great pic. But look where the gun looks like it is pointing at.

Congrats to you and your boy. I know the feeling when you said that you cried.
Just a thought
My buddy's daughterkilled her first deer last year. It was a spike also. he took the spike's and mounted them and then had a small brass etching attached on the plaque stating first deer, date caliber etc. Might be something that you both will look at for a long time and remember this day

Thanks guys, I am proud of him for sure. Today he comes out the the John and says hey dad this book has some really cool stuff, he was refering to my Cabela's catelog. LOL thats the first time I have seen him look at it. I think he is hooked. Yea baby !

im with ADD on the canned hunt, but still that is awesome!!!!! he did a wicked job!! i cant see the pic of the spike tho?? i hope hes hooked! im glad my family got me into hunting when i was nice and young! it will be a life long thing for me! i dont plan on stoping!
