In this area leave any stand on public land its gone.Nothing you can do or the law.I really do not believe hunters are stealing them.I have had one climber stolen.

It was a wake up call. I carry my cable and lock when taking my Summit. I generaaly carry it in and carry it out.

Had my climber stolen last year! Hunted the afternoon & left it there overnight. Coming back next morning to hunt & was gone. I have a pretty good idea who stole it just can't prove it. Have'nt got to see them in the woods to confront them yet. But I will eventually! Needless to say I've walked through the woods and seen stands (ladder & climbers) that were not locked with any cable locks & I just let them be! I will not let mine anymore!

Had a lock-on stand, the screw in steps and the security cable stolen off of a tree that was about 200 yds. from my back door!!!!!!

i aint had nothin stolen not to say it wont happen to me but my dad had his ladder stand get stolen. he knows who stole it but hads no proof of the guy stealing it.

I just took a real nice 15' ladder, padded seat, padded arm rests, padded shooting rail, all the ratchet straps, pull up line & brace! Brand new and it didn't even have a lock on it! Wrinkle-finish black with non-skid steps. It stood out like a sore thumb - so we had to take it! Know what I mean?

I tell ya what - somebody is gonna have a big surprise! I put it up and alot of deer have been seen from it, just none stuck YET!
