8 year old is ready
tomorrow is youth day, my eight year thinks his ready,he had a chance to kill (his first)a doe last year with his mom & brother, but wanted me to be with him when he got the chance,(deployed to iraq),maybe tomorrow will be his day,if not, it'll still be a great hunt,

GOD bless those youngin's ... good luck I know even if he does not harvest a deer he will always remember being in the woods with his dad ... seeing the sun rise .... and feeling like a young man ... man thats what this sport is ALL about !

He passed shooting one last year because he wanted to be with you when he gets his first ? WOW !!!! You could not be more proud of him .You definately did a great job of raising him hopefully he gets a big buck for his efforts

well nothing on youth day hunt, but still had fun, got to answer about a 100 questions, the 19th is opening day for gun season,will let you know how it went,and i'm ready for question 101, thanks guys
