Mad calls the only one selling this,or is there others.Anyone have any sucess with this call?

Someone gave me one many years ago. I have not used it while hunting because when a deer makes this sound they are usaully alarmed. I don't see why a deer would come to the sound of another deer being startled. I had a doe snort at me at least 20 times the evening before last. She was walking downwind and when she got my scent she just stood and snorted. Made me feel like she was telling all deer within hearing that I was there.

Snort wheeze is not a alarmed call. 2 totally different vocalizations.
