Snort Wheeze call
#2
The only one I've really ever seen was made by M.A.D.D.; I know the Drury boys are quite fond of using them on their shows... couldn't tell you how they compare to other manufacturers though.

M.A.D.D.'s snort/wheeze call is nothing more than a funnel attached to the grunt call. You can mimic the call using anything from the tube on your current call to your hand cupped just right....Save your money and practice with items at home or your hand itself.....again, practice....it's easy to mimic.

I don't see much reason to spend the money on one. The MADD calls are the only brand to sell one I think. I have had great luck using bleats, rattling& grunts so I will stick with those without the worry of a snort wheeze.

I've never tried it but i heard that you can make a similar sound with the tube from a roll of toilet paper. Like i said, i've never tried it but someone my dad hunts with told me about it and he said it works pretty well.
