My dad's best buck!
Shot it back in 1981 up in the Upper Peninsula by Seney, MI. Thing was a hog! He said after hanging for 6 days it still weighed around 220 lbs.. He said he had it roughly measured one time and it was around 120". The DNR estimated the live weight around 250 lbs! He said he was back in the pot holes(swamp) when he noticed doe after doe go into a thicket. He didn't know what was going on but soon figured it out. He figured they were going in to get bred by this buck. After about 30 mins the buck stepped out from the thicket at about 150 yards away and he dropped it in its tracks. Being he was about a mile from the nearest road he and his friends took turns dragging it.. lol.. I said I would of cut it up on the spot.
