Velvet bucks....
I met up with Mike tonight for a quick crash-course on using the GL2 and to check my trail camera and on the way home I figured I'd stop by the local forest preserve and kick back with the camera for awhile. After seeing a few does it was starting to get dark so I packed things up, popped over the hill and ran into this guy. I got within probably 20 feet of him at one point and he just stood there and looked at me. Not much in the tine length department, but pretty nice bases.

Justin, WOW!! Well done man. You're doing really well with the velvet bucks this year, keep it up. With everything we've done this year from the awesome sheds to the velvet footage and the giants we're going to put on the ground, I just cant wait to see what Todd's video is going to look like next year. I'm already looking forward to our upcoming trip back to IL.

Good work Justin! It's cool to know we have about a dozen guys out filming velvet footage pretty-much every-night! Tyler stopped by today and showed me some velvet footage he took with our PD-170.... Some pretty impressive stuff man! I think we're going to need to make a velvet footage video if we keep going at this pace! A very good problem to have indeed!
