Well, it happened put my camera out on Thursday on city property in a place nobody in they right mind would walk (except me, I thought) and went to get it on Monday morning........Gone. The worst part it was a gift to my hunting buddy Gordy from his now deceased father, who was a awsome hunting partner of mine.
BOLO Grand Haven for a idiot talking about a nice new camera!

Spoiler, I'm sorry to hear that and it definitely gives you that sick feeling in your stomach which turns quickly to anger. I'm not an expert, but I've read two articles lately that talk about puting them up higher in a tree (higher than eye level) and pointing them down to help prevent that. They also said to put out a decoy camera box, then put a no-flash camera much higher and have it point down to the fake camera to catch the thieves. It's just a thought and I'm puting mine higher this year.

That's awsome Gordy, I talked to to the lost and found dept. at the police station today and they were really cool w/ me and took my info down in case they happen to come acrossed it. It pays to know people.....I mentioned it to one city worker and the next thing I know he's at my house and I'm talking with officers..

Mikey, This past May some MF broke into my truck and took a number of items including my range finder and a custom deer antler knife made by a close family friend who passed away a few years back. I feel your pain. What grinds the salt in deeper is that the big balled theif did it in my driveway when I was home. The sherrif's department has fingerprints from the box of WKP DVD's that was in my back seat. The thief picked four DVD's out of the box and set them back down, leaving his finger prints on the wrappers. Unfortunatly the prints didn't match anything in the database. Some day they will I hope. The prick obviously wasn't a hunter or he would have appreciated the quality of the WKP DVD and took them too. Bruce
