I live in central Montana and I was wondering if there are any places aroung Montana to hunt hogs (any kind), sheep, or goats? I don't want to travel to far, hopefully in the upper NW, N-Central.

Sheep and goat, visit your game and fish web site!!!! Montana has some of the best of both if you can draw a tag. As for hogs there is a place in Idaho that has hog hunting. I don't recall the name, do a web search.

For the sheep/goat hunting, I didn't make myself clear (I apologize), I am looking for "Domesticated gone wild". I can't think of any of their names, but I've read a couple of stories in Bowhunter Magazine that they have hunted goats in California.

There are some in Utah I have heard. Thats all I know.

I have tried Web searches for hours, and all that I can find are in the south or New Mexico, or Arizona. I'm not having much luck finding anything at all. I've heard of a place over in North Dakota that has a variety of animals, but I can't find that either. I haven't heard of ANY PLACE over here in West Dakota (Montana), joke from way back. The term your looking for would be "feral".

There is no place in Idaho where you can hunt feral hogs.
