Hog or Sheep/Goat hunting?
 

I live in central Montana and I was wondering if there are any places aroung Montana to hunt hogs (any kind), sheep, or goats? I don't want to travel to far, hopefully in the upper NW, N-Central.

Sheep and goat, visit your game and fish web site!!!! Montana has some of the best of both if you can draw a tag. As for hogs there is a place in Idaho that has hog hunting. I don't recall the name, do a web search.

For the sheep/goat hunting, I didn't make myself clear (I apologize), I am looking for "Domesticated gone wild". I can't think of any of their names, but I've read a couple of stories in Bowhunter Magazine that they have hunted goats in California.

There are some in Utah I have heard. Thats all I know.

I have tried Web searches for hours, and all that I can find are in the south or New Mexico, or Arizona. I'm not having much luck finding anything at all. I've heard of a place over in North Dakota that has a variety of animals, but I can't find that either. I haven't heard of ANY PLACE over here in West Dakota (Montana), joke from way back. Thanks for all your replies, I appreciate all help!!!!!!!

The term your looking for would be "feral".

There is no place in Idaho where you can hunt feral hogs.
