Has anyone ever done any bear hunting near molalla oregon, any luck up there?

Not there... Actually never heard of it lol! I live in Southern Oregon, and got a bear at 30 yards with my bow last year. I heard some thing crash above me, so I hiked up there and sure enough, there was a 200 pounder! It ran 10 yards after the shot and dropped!

thinking of 4 differentplaces hills above molalla (where i live),down south coast area, around sisters bend (the inlaws lve over there) or the strawberries (John Day)

no but i spend alot of time around there and hood river

no bear in mollalla just rednecks

there are bears all over the place up there. i live just north of eugene and there are bears everywhere west of me 20 minutes.
i saw bear crap on peets monutain in sherwood a few months ago. just look for large areas of blackberries in the mid-august to mid sept time. look for crap. its purple with seeds. look for black berry bushes that have been pushed down.
