I want to take my mother on a antelope hunt in 09, she has never hunted before, I asked her and she was very excited of the thought. Just something I would like to do for my mom, for all the crap she puts up with me going on all my hunts. Any thoughts out there on where to bring her? Do it yourself or hire guide? Which Ranch? Do I want to find a ranch with a women guide? More than anything I just want to make it memerable, I know there will be animals to see, no bugs, warm weather. I am from Minnesota and have hunted antelope one time in Montana on a do it yourself type of thing. Other than that all my hunts are going to Canada after Deer, not the type of hunting for my mother on her first\only hunt. Any advice would be greatly apreciated.

I would go to Wyoming and find a outfitter or rancher to take you out. A DIY antelope can be difficult if your hunting punlic land because they get pretty spooky about 2hrs into rifle season and it makes for tough hunting. If you go with someone on private land your success rate will be alot higher and it will be a easier hunt.
