Well, I was successful again this year out mulie hunting. I wasn't really looking for anything real big. Just something big enough to fill in the little empty space we have in the freezer. A friend of mine and I were heading into an area we usually hunt when we ran into a pretty sizeable herd. He picked out a huge 4 point that had one side broken off about 2 inches above his head with nothing but the brow tine still intact. I was looking at what appeared to be a 4x5. When all the does finally stopped walking back and forth in front of and in back of him. I touched the trigger and he went down. Only problem was. He was a fork horn. He was standing head to head with a 2x3.The 2x3's body was behind a tree. They're head's were in such perfect alignment. They looked like one deer. That's ok though. The fork horn is going to be good eating. And, my better half and my freezer really doesn't have enough space in it for the big guy.
