Well my trip to WY for elk was nice. But didn't harvest an elk. My friend shot a 5x4 the first day. I passed up several spike bulls looking for a nice 5x5 or better (even a bigger 4x4). Saw a bunch of big bulls on private land where I didn't have enough $$ to gain access. Weather too was a problem with temps getting into the 60s some days & no snow.
I wish I would have had a chance to drop the hammer on my 325WSM to see what it would do on a decent bull but it never panned out. Oh well, that's hunting. Those 5 - 15 mile walks a day did show off a lot of WY's beauty.

Oh well better luck next year. Where about in wyoming do you hunt
