I scored a great tag in unit 33 for the December hunt. I have spoke to quite a few people who know the area but would like to get additional advice on where some good spots are. Any reccomendations would help greatly!!
Thanks

I have heard that mount lemmon has some good deer but they terrain is very rough. If i am not mistaken that is in 33. I just came back this morning from a hunt in 36b and let me tell you hunting is tough down there. Make sure you have some good glass because the deer down there cn be in front of you and you won't be able to spot them. Good Luck!

Thanks for the advice. We will be hunting on the southern end of the Rincon mountains. I went scouting recently and those deer are going to be hard to find. On a good note though, the four of us (i have the only tag) all have quality optics. Swarovski, leupold, Zeiss, and Nikon just to begin with the binos. We have one awsome swarovski spotting scope and a fair Burris spotting scope that we will carry with us at all times. I will be shotting my new 257Wby Mag. If you havent shot one yet I'm telling you it is scary fast and extreemly flat shootingas well.
Wish me luck, Couse deer are tough!!!!!!!!
