Still not legal. Many are going raise hell to appeal this ruling, and it will likely be overturned by a higher court. It was reported that the Co. Prosecuter where this ruling occurred probably won't file any more charges for baiting until this gets worked out. While this does violate the more than one subject per innitiative rule, it would take too much common sense for them to see it that way. Not to mention that this is the land of the animal rights freaks. Unfortunately, I don't think the WDFW is pushing for the initiative to be overturned. I'm not sure why, since they keep complaining that too many sows are being killed. At least with baiting, you can identify your animal and judge size and gender at close range. As it is now, you catch glimpses in berry patches from 100-300 yards away, and you don't know what sex or age it is.

Hey all hope things are going good in the great state of Washington, we got settled finially here in Maryland, we bought a house 20 miles south of the base. Talk about being a exspensive place to live!!! Work isn't to bad, got to see GW and the Vp along with several other dignitaries fly out of Andrews.

Hi summit, well it's a bit cooler today. Only got in the low 80s. Been seeing some nice bucks and lots of grouse, only seen one bear so far but I'll see more while I'm out working. The catch and release season on the local rivers is getting up to a good head of steam. Talk to 2 diff guys that have caught some 20+" cutthroats out of the Methow
