Tiggeer,
I' m leaving for over there @ 11pm Fri. night when I get off work & I' ll be there at 4:30am. Hunt all day then catch up on some sleep. I hunt all WE long & leave from over there after dark on Sun. Then I' ll be hunting all next week before work on this side.........I have a mission impossible/possible that I have to complete for Slee. Slee, hang on brother I' ll try to find that needle in the haystack for ya..............if I can' t I know that I can call on my Ol' buddy JEB. Jeb is my bloodhound that I trained for trackin' . I don' t think the turkeys would be diggin' him howl though. Hell who knows I might be able to use him as a locater! I know the Owl & crow call of mine doesn' t do it, but the dogs in my area can get them to shock gobble! Hummmm, man the ideas are endless! How much would you expect to pay? But wait there' s more, if you act now for a limited time only you to can get the amazing pocket sized howler. Not for 39.95, not for 29.95, but for just 19.95 you to could own one..........Sorry guys got lost in the moment. Damn infomercials!!!!

So does he howl louder when you twist his right or left ear. Poor dog, that' s an old trick we use to use when we had Walker and Red Bone deer hounds. They know their pen mates.
Bldhound, you make sure you don' t remove all them needles. I' ve still got a almost 2 weeks to fill my Eastern tag before heading over. You know, this little setup we got going could work out real well for both of us. You can only hunt in the mornings, and I can only hunt in the evenings. I can roost one for you, and you can tell me where you left him talking that morning. Kinda like Jack Sprat.

Slee, that will work out real good. The needle in the haystack brother, is trying to find a camo coat in the woods! Yeah, I have no problem telling you where I' ll leave ' em. I' ll give you a call in a hour or two.

[email protected] your mail. Think where ya hunt ought to be fine....went up the pass this morning....went about 1 1/2 mile' s on up the hwy where you turn off......there were 2 nice tom' s in the brush right next to the road. Game warden told me yesterday....that opening morning alone...Wal-Mart sold 150 2nd tag' s....not sure how many Clark' s All Sport sold.......so there were guite afew sucessful hunter' s. I am seeing less and less hunter' s over here now...Think the majority came the first week.. Even though someone poched all my tom' s I had coming in on my place opening day....there' s 3 more that have showed up ...been hanging around for the last 3 day' s....so......If they can just stick around now till morning.....hopefully the wife can get her tag filled. I still have alot of hen' s grouped up on my place.Another hunting partner of mine and another friend did fill their tag' s Wendsday evening..

WesternWA freinds, Hello hope your tags are getting used. Need a favor if I might.
Pretty sure I bagged a Rio this WE in the Rice area. Told there are suposed to be some up there.
Favor is, is I have one day left I can hunt( this upcoming Sat). I need an almost sure fire Eastern spot. If it is your honey hole I can promise you that it will not be spoken about and will only be used by me this one time! Got my 1st longbeard this year(2nd turkey overall) didn' t think I could top it til I bagged the 2nd leg of the slam with time left. Be very much appreciated and I can find some way to return the favor someday too. Thank guys, fell free to email me.

I got my first turkey ever this last Friday. Third year hunting. I went over to " Eastern Washington" and killed a Rio. 18 lbs., 8 3/4 inch beard, and 1/2 spurs. My cousin also got one.. at least 20 lbs., 10 inch beard, and 3/4 inch spurs. I think his was a Rio also. I called for 2 hours after fly down and it finally came in to our decoys. It is WAY easier over there. You might not see a bird over here for a week but over there you see 50 a day. Dang.. 15 years old and killing turkeys, I wonder what Im gonna be like in the future. I feel pretty pround of myself. Maybe I can get one over here on the west side, key word " maybe" , lol.
