Quick question guys.
This year I am hunting in Alaska again. It has been4 years from my last tripso things have changed some. Also I am huntinga different area then I have ever hunted there before. So things are different all around. Looks like I booked flight with airlines that has changed rules. My fault for not checking. Same airline as last so I just figured they were the same in that department. But have to make the best of it now. They are saying chance are that I won't be able to bring the antlers home on the plane. Doesn't matter if they are split or not.No problem with the meat just the antlers.Has this happened to any of you? If so how did you get antlers home? Mail, UPS any tips from anybody? I have hunted all over the country and abroad and never had that happen.

I had a taxidermist in Anchorage do my work, and then had him ship my mount to me. He took care of everything, and my mount was delivered to my work, on a yellow freight truck!! I had a Euro. mount done, and I sold the cape to the taxidermist, as there is a high demand for good capes, and I simply don't have room for a shoulder mounted Yukon moose!
