Default Access ?'s

My question is in regards to accessing public, blm land through private land. If a county road runs through private land are you allowed to travel on it. I would assume that it being a county road you could, you just would not be able to hunt off of it in the private land sections. I am looking to hunt in the square S summer range and it appears some of the access roads run through private land. Just getting all the facts so as not to ruffle any feathers! Thanks for the info

Default RE: Access ?'s

As long as thr road marked as a Forest or County Road it is a public road and the land owner can not close it off to anyone. We were up hunting elk on BLM land and the game warden drove by and asked if we had any trouble getting onto the BLM land. He told us that some other hunters were told the road was a private. Check you BLM Land maps and they lable the forest and county roads. Good luck Jovan
