Default snow level in eastern WA?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone around the Yakima area can tell me about the snow level around GMU 352/346. I am preparing for late season and noticed that SR410 and 123 has been closed. I don't want to drive 4 hours to find out that the snow is bad. Thanks for any info.

Default Snow Level

As of last weekend, there was about a foot of snow in the Little Naches. Some hunters got stuck in the Little Bald mtn area due to snow drifts. The snow level has been about 2-2500 ft in the area.

Feel free to send some of that snow to Wisconsin, but please make sure it's here by the 19th. [8D]

Yajsab - I am going hunting across the street from you - in the Little Naches area. Hopefully the snow won't be real crunchy - otherwise I will just have to sit off of some trails and walk as little as possible. I am heading over early Friday afternoon but with Chinook closed I have to go through Ellensburgh and Yakima.

I dont think snow level is real low, a guy i work with went out last weekend and said what snow there is was real crunchy. sounds like people were driving clear to top of mountain in cowiche area.

You guys should be ok.

Update, we got a skiff of snow in Selah this morning. grass was covered so mountains should be prime for hunting.
