Default Colorado elk hunting

Well, I drew an either sex first rifle tag this year. Really wish I had gone for a different section on the second or third season. They sent a logging crew in a day before and cut a swath through the center of the unit where i was. The hunting of course sucked! And, it was really crowded. Couldnt go more than a quarter of a mile without seeing orange. Of course, I bombed out. Section 28 is a wash this year! EJ

Yeah, I am gonna go heal my hunting wounds by heading to oklahoma with a pal of mine for some whitetail hunting. It is usually cake down there. I think the only real remedy is to buy your own land in the middle of nowhere. EJ

The first season inColorado this year was not real productive, I'm hearing. Full moon has got to have something to do with it.

Spent 7 days hunting second seaon very hard and all I managed to see was a lonely doe with no boyfriend. The warm weather and the full moon definetly played a major factor.
