Default Hunting Buddy/Mentor

Heya folks!

I was looking for a hunting buddy in my area I am new to hunting and want to learn, that wayI have something to pass onto to my son. I consider myself a fasst learner who is not afraid to ask questions or know when to shut up and listen. I welcome all constructive critism. I live in nor/cen cal about an hour south of Sacramento. I don't have any relatives or friends that hunt so my options are limited. I am an over the road truck driver at the moment so my time is sparse at best. However I have a conditional job offer for another company whereI would be working 6 days, 3 days off. Which would give more time but not always on the weekend, which could be a blessing in itself for hunting. But that wont be till atleast next month. Any help would be great!
Thanks!

My father moved to the Boise, ID area so if anyone needs a partner he is definitely looking for a hunting bud since his favorite hunting son lives in Georgia . My dad is retired and can put a whopping on any youngster in the stamina department and that includes me. If anyone is looking for a Elk/Turkey/Muley/bear/trout/ partner email me at mbucca AT comcast DOT net
