Going to CO Oct 22 - 29 Unit 85. Drew MD Tags, otc Bull Elk tags and hunting on private land. Does anyone know how many trophy Mule Deer and Elk are in this area?? Landowner sent pics of some very high scoring deer and elk that he supposedly took after last years seasons ended. What kind of weather should we expect?? We have always hunted NW Colorado. This is our first hunt in the Southern part of the state. Any info. will be greatly appreciated!

Not real sure about the amount of trophies in the area but I can tell you to pack all types of clothing. It really depends on the elevation you are hunting at. In mid archery season we had frost and a little snow at 10k ft. Good luck on you hunt.
