Default Dove Hunting in Arizona

Anybody from Arizona who dove hunts around the Phoenix area?
I have hunted the Maricopa area in the past but with all the new home development in that area that is fast becoming history. Any suggestions?

I've hunted Maricopa and Casa Grande both in the past but my area in Casa Grande just hasn't been producing many dove the past few years. I'm thinking of trying Buckeye if I can go w/ a few buds that know the area otherwise even w/ all the new houses I may end up in Maricopa because last year it was pretty good for me. I refuse to hunt Maricopa on opening day due to all the dip ****s out there!

Guys, I'm from Phx, but now live in CO. I've never had the chance to hunt dove there, but was in Tucson a few weeks ago and stayed by the airport. Doves were thick there. You might try looking for some state land further south.

I've been in tucson since June 6, and I've seen dove literally everywhere, and while making the trek between Tucson and Phoenix a few times I've seen dove the entire way. Not being from here and knowing the landscape, I can't say where spots are, but, there's plenty of agriculture along 10 between these two cities with a lot of desert scrup adjacent to it. It looks to me to be real good for some dove shooting!
I've never seen so many whitewings in my life!

Yeah, Tucson has doves everywhere! Best is the ranch in southeast Tucson.
