hey all, Whats going on???
I am looking into buying my first set ofdecoys and i hunt on a river.
What type of name brand of decoys sound i buy? Or what name brand of decoys works best for you? And how many do i need to start out with?
and we have alot of geese on the river how many should buy. And wha typeof ame brand decoys in geese should i buy. Thanks Yall

Probably the best you could buy are cork decoys , but most can't afford them. My second choice for the hunter on a budget would be either G&H or Herters. IMHO Carry Lite and Flambeau in duck decoys are a waste of your money and even though cheaper you get what you pay for.
A 18 duck and 8 goose would be a good starting number. It all depends how serious you become ,when you get a few hundred decoys in various species you "might" be satisfied with what you got.
