Anybody ever hunted Sea Ducks??? Just wondering because they are included with a blacktail hunt that I am looking into in Alaska.

I want to go seaduck hunting in the worst way!!!!! I've never done it but looked into some outfitters out in washington state and some over on the east coast. I'm kinda partial to washington though. I don't know why. If you have the chance to go than go by all means. Don't even hesitate. Honestly I'd say to hell with the black tail and jsut shoot sea ducks. Just my thought

Well I think that the whols experience will be a great time, plus sea ducks are beautiful and theyd make some interesing mounts.

yeah seaducks are on my list of to do's also ........ and wash state would be great .... get ya sum harlequins, barrows g-eyes, longtails, scoters ...... but maine is where i wanna go for eiders and longtails mainly .... but carp ya do know that they kill seaduck on the lakes up there right ??? i have killed a surf scoter here .... and have seen sum longtails

hey buddy .... guess what has been spotted and confirmed in one of my huntin areas ???? yup thats right ....seaducks a few surf scoters and whitewings scoters been spotted .... im gonna try my hardest to try to get a crack at em this weekend ..... but with only a few round it will be pure luck .... but who knows eh ?? lol
