CAN YOU MIX MALLARD DECOY'S WITH TEAL AND PINTAIL DECOY'S OR SHOULD YOU SPREAD THE DIFFRENT SPECIES BY THERE OWN KIND.ANY COLORADO HUNTERS THAT HUNT WATERFOWL COLORADO THAT CAN HUNT DURING THE WEEK GIVE ME A LINE.

Absolutely...many ducks will decoy to different species quite readily, and intermingle...in fact you'd get by just fine if all you had were greenhead deke's...so adding them in to what you have will not be a problem.

Howdy DUCKNBAG,
Ive had good luck mixing my coot, teal and mallards so far. It finnaly dawned on m one day that the ducks dont segragate by race on the water. I also throw a couple goose floaters on ofr good measure
I live in Meeker, CO but im always lookin for a new hotspot, drop me a line with your 20 and well see what happens!

We usually seperate them between Dabblers and Divers but that is it. Almost all ducks will come into Mallard deeks and we usually throw in a few Pintails, Teal and Gadwall decoys in with them just for confidence decoys.

yeah ya sure can ... but i tend to keep them seperated at the start of the season ... and start to mix in the others (gaddies, bills, cans, etc) later in the season ... but i dont pile em round each other .... the old saying "birds of a feather flock together" seems true where i hunt ...altho on roosting and feeding grounds they will mix on a regular basis ... most of the teal, sprig, and gaddies we kill here are mixed with mallards ... best thing to do is go out ....scout ....find out what birds are workin the area ....see how they are acting (mixed or seperated) and mimic what the birds are doing .... seems to work here anyhow ... hope that helps
