yeah ya sure can ... but i tend to keep them seperated at the start of the season ... and start to mix in the others (gaddies, bills, cans, etc) later in the season ... but i dont pile em round each other .... the old saying "birds of a feather flock together" seems true where i hunt ...altho on roosting and feeding grounds they will mix on a regular basis ... most of the teal, sprig, and gaddies we kill here are mixed with mallards ... best thing to do is go out ....scout ....find out what birds are workin the area ....see how they are acting (mixed or seperated) and mimic what the birds are doing .... seems to work here anyhow ... hope that helps
