Big man I no longer live in Colorado, in fact it's been over 20yrs and three kids ago. But I didn't want your post to go unanswered. If no one on this site lives and hunts in your area, then check out Duckboats.net. It's a site based on duck boat building, duck hunting and basically general hunting. Anyway, on that site there are at least 3 people in your area. One lives in Meeker, that would be way west of your location. The others live in Longmont, and Colorado Springs. Theirs still another, but the name escapes me, that lives in Broomfield.
If you ever get on the western slope try to find the Yampa Valley down by Hayden, between Steamboat Springs and Craig. A great place of geese, at least long ago, was Browns Park.
Hope it helps.

Try out the Refuge forum it's mainly a waterfowl forum that has a Colorado forum most of the folks there are on the Front Range. There is a lot of yaddie-yaw and BS but some good folks as well.

I have only been out once with four guys on a SMALL piece of Private Property and we bagged only 2, a Mallard and a Spoonbill. With the mountains getting snow and the states north getting colder weather, I hope it will improve....
