Went out today for early goose checked all the spots I've seen them before. on several small flowages and found nothing after that 4 hour walk I drove around checking fields and didn't find any. I guess I'm looking in the wrong spots but where else do i look? any help would be appretiated.

Whats the weather been like??? Most geese haven't even begun to move into their migration patterns yet the birds you may have seen last week are either resident birds or some getting into the migration pattern early. if you have had any cool weather or rain its likely they moved on and just no new birds have come in yet or you are just not getting out early enough. I would say if you dont get to your spot by atleast a half hour before sun up forget it Try looking around crop fields, if you have a crop field you can hunt go for it just get setup early before the birds show up.
