i have a 12 ga. Browning BPS that's about 20 years old. it still works like new, and shoots great. it is my primary shotgun that i use, and i don't plan on getting a new one anytime soon.

I got a Browning BPS 3 1/2 12g. 3 inch is all you really need though. Tricky to take apart but not difficult. I heard those Charles Daleys are crap, so watch out.

yeah, i forgot to mention that the BPS is somewhat difficult to take apart and put back together the first few times, but once you've done it 3-4 times, its not a problem.

Thanks guys for the INFO, as for the Charles Daly, what have you heard? They do offer a lifetime repair warranty. Maybe they know something we don't? What about the Benelli series. Been looking very hard at the Browning BPS. Did not like the Rem 870 supmag, Bad action, shot hard and kicked like a mule. Again Thanks for the INFO.Any web site that compares shotguns?

As for the charles daly my brother-in-law bought one last fall.About half way through the season maybe 6 boxes of 3" steel, the handle to open the receiver broke off.
They seem to be very cheeply made...
He hasent sent it off to have it fixed yet but Im curious to see how much trouble he has dealing with them...
