Never seen anybody shooting a charles daily. Guess not very popular around here but some of the guns much more expensive than the Browning are very popular and nice to shoot. Forget the 835 unless it is the only one in your budget. Myself, I like the SX2 but a lot of money considering the stuff I take it through. I buy my guns to use and abuse, not an investment but rather a tool. If you can shoot straight anything will work as long as it is designed for shooting steele.

Bud Light,You hit it right on the mark. I have a 20yr wingmaster mag, not made for steel, I have used that gun for everything under the sun and still kill birds with it, but again the barrel is showing a lot of ware from the steel. I have traveled from Maine to Tenn with it and back to Maryland again, she is showing her age. Steel is all we can use here in MD, I need a serious watefowl gun.Looking hard at the Brown BPS. Thanks for all the advice.

The BPS is sweet, I can stroke it as fast as an auto without the extra cleaning. I only clean it after hunting in the rain and snow.

I want to add that there are aftermarket choke tubes that will satisfy any hunter. You will even win meat at turkey shoots at the local bars against $1500 guns. If you are left handed it is even a bigger bonus because the empties land right at your feet(or IN the boat). I like to collect my empties because I shoot a lot and they are litter. Shining brass on the side of the blind has screwed me more than once.

If you think the Remington 870 Super Mag kicks like a mule, then you need to hit the weight room and start working out because I'm a relatively small guy, 5'7" 150lbs, and this gun doesn't give me any problems. I've let my younger cousins shoot it with no problems. I love my 870. Super Mag all the way!!

Thanks Jerry from DE, Please, I mean no offence to your 870, I have one , so does my whole family, been with me thru thick and thin, I just had a chance to shot a supermag in 3.5, I shot the mossberg835, browning auto,BPS pump and the supermag. The comparison was the 870 kick harder than the ones with backbored barrels thats all. We do alot of duckhunting between the 3 farms we hunt almost 5 days a week during the season. And as you know the seasons are not long at all. I'll take your advice and hit the weight room. Buy the way I'm former DC police 5'7" 160 still working with the police as a civilian heliport operator been hunting with my big brother since I was 10yr. Thanks again for your coments. :)

my 20 year old gun's action works so smoothly that me and a friend were hunting for the first time, and i fired about four shots. he said,"man, you've got the advantage over me with that semi-auto. its a pump! i can actually shoot my browning bps faster than any semi out there.

ok its been awhile since i`ve posted sorry about that. but for my money you can`t go wrong with the nova its tough and it wont let you down no matter what the weather conditions.an added bonus is its one of the easiest gun to tear down and clean. hope this helps.
