Hunting in the snow.

Hunting in the snow.
I was hunting in a local bay today, and didn't have any luck. I saw lots of ducks and geese, ($hit load), but i could not get them to get close, all were too far for a shot. The weather was overcast/snowing so they were flying low anyways, but i could not get them to come in for a better look. I think it might have to do with the fact that i was sitting in a white field in full forest camo. I tried to cover my self up with snow, but that only worked so well. I was thinking about taking a white sheet, or i thought i might wear a garbage bags (white) over my coat. What do you think? any suggestions?
Also does anyone have any good advice on how to hunt late season geese?
I am a young hunter, and am looking for all the advice i can get. Thanks,
Idaho hunter

H.S. makes a white burlap tarp, I tied white cord thru the burlap, easy to do with the burlap, for attaching plants. Careful of using sheets they can "glow". Wash them in with non UV brightning soap.

I used a white towel on sunday and it seemed to work a little better. I also wore a white jacket. i think it would have worked great, but the geese and the ducks were not there like they were saturday.

Old white sheets work, also bought a military white cover up suit from www.sportsmansguide.com for like $10 on sale. They don't have that sale now, but they have some on there. Either work well.
