Good gun?

Good gun?
I am thinking about buying a Side by Side 12g. It is pretty small/light, has screw in chokes, shoots 3'' shells and is in two models ranging from 359-399, i am leaning torwards the 359, because i don't see really any diff. between the two types. I already own a 12g. browning semi-auto, but i have always loved to look at the side by side's. Just as a first side by side for duck hunting/ upland bird hunting.
Do you think this would be good for ducks, and good for the price??
thanks for your opinion...

RE: Good gun?
I've owned twice by's for years..Grew up shooting an old side by Stevens for squirrels , rabbits , and doves...It all really depends on your weather when it comes to duck hunting with a side by....Mine have nice wood finishes and blued barrels...Wont do for ducking...If you're wading , when you break it over either the stock or barrel tip is going to be in the water....If you can get one with synthetic stocks it might not be a bad choice...With duck hunting you need a dependable , as waterproof as possible gun to shoot...Mud , grime , water all come in to plsy with waterfowl where they dont with upland birds or other small game...i own several guns , autos , side bys , OUs , and pumps..And the pumps made for waterfowling are the only ones I use for ducks...
