Default new to duck hunting--need a call

Well, I just started duck hunting....last weekend, and I got hooked.

I got some decoys, they are on the way. I' m going out to get a call tonight. I tried using a buddies call this past weekend, and I was suprised that is was a little more difficult than I thought it would be. He said you almost had to hum into the call. Any suggestions on whjat call I should get. Something easy to uise and learn would be nice.

Primos makes a pretty nice beginners call, any of them will work. I like the Hag, it is pretty raspy and easy to blow when it is cold outside. Welcome to the sport, good luck man!

I love RNT calls (as well as BGB' s), and the bestbeginner/cheap/easy to use call I' ve ever seen is the Quackhead. I end up blowing my Quackhead more than my more expensive calls! Great call, only about $25. I have a Hag, but only use it over rice or in the trees. The Quackhead will be a better all around call.

And I would have to agree- stay away from Lohman' s.

Buy you a Haydels DR-85, about the easiest call to make sound like a duck out there.
