If you have one, whats your favorite duck to hunt or shoot? I don' t have a fav to hunt, but i love wood ducks!

Wigeon intrigue me. Pretty ducks, I' ve always like them.

Mallard, or, as I like to say, " Mallart" .

Big, fat, curly-tailed, shiny, iridescent, greenheaded drakes, with orange feet.

Mallart, mallart, mallart.

Tornadoes silently circling the corn stubble, only their wings swooshing like jets as they pass overhead, growing ever closer.

Mallart, mallart, mallart.

Screw the hens, the Suzies. I want those drakes, with their maroon breasts, and perfect orange-yellow beaks, though a fine pale green will do.

Mallart, mallart, mallart.

And the feathers, almost fur-like, so dense, so thick, covering that hefty, blocky body.

Mallart, mallart, mallart.

No duck like the mallard. I love ' em, with passion. Just love ' em.

The big bull Cans, or bluebills are a very very very close second

I don' t know............maybe aaaaaaaa.....a big fat green head maybe..........

Stupid ones. The kind that just fall into the dekes no matter what...as long as it' s a puddle duck. No nasty tastin' divers or mergansers.

I like canvasbacks the best . I killed my first 2 years ago.

Got to be a big fat Greenhead, with a nice Wood Duck a close second.

Ole Squaw. Flies as fast as a Teal but much shiftier.

It' s a close tie between greenheads and pintails.
