Does anyone know anthing about "Estate" brand shells? Saw some in a store the other day with a price of 10.99 for 3-1/2" 12ga. Seemed pretty cheap, just wondering how well they performed.

All I use now is Estate. So far, I've had excellent luck with them. Never had one jam up on me, and they always fire. Wish I could say the same for Federal and Remington. I've had a few Federal's jam up on me, and in my gun (Mossberg 500), the Remington Nitro Steel jams almost every other time. The casing is too long on them to come out of the port. I have to pull it out with my finger. But I've never had a problem with Estate. I shoot the BBB shot or T shot. And since I can get it here for 7.75 dollars a box, you can't beat it! Matt

Ninefingers, they sell them at Outdoor America which is here in Oklahoma City. It's on N. MacArthur which is on the west side of town. It's north of I-40 about two or three miles on the west side of the road. Can't miss it. Big place. I was in there today and they didn't have anymore. I think that price was a special. They are three inch shells. They had some other brand called Fiocchi or something for about 7.50 a box. I got 3" BBB shot. I haven't tried them out yet. Another place to get Estate is Outdoor Outfitters. They sell it for 9.99 a box for any type of 12 guage shell. It's at 39th and Portland next to Pratts grocery store. They were about stocked to the ceiling with it when I was in there yesterday. Outdoor outfitters is selling all of their duck hunting clothes for 40% off right now too. Outdoor America sells shotguns cheaper than Wal-Mart. I love going into both of these places. Matt
