Beginning Hunters....What would you do?

Default Beginning Hunters....What would you do?

I was huntin today w/ a kid who has never really done much duck huntin. He shot before the groups comitted....he'd claim everyduck that hit the water, and just somethin about it that made me mad.....i know....i dont have much patience....lol...what would u do,

can you seperate into 2 differant blinds that are semi-close to each other? that would let him know whats wrong without saying a word.
training and patience, remember when you were on that end.

Next time don't shoot and see how many fall after he shoots or else just let him have his fun adn go with the flow unless it tries your patience to much. Or else shoot before he does. I dunno, it would be nice to say "ya sure you missed by a mile." and claim them for your self but that may turn him away from duck hunting which wouldn't be good. Or else the seperate blind thing is an excellent I idea to.

Wait, wait, ready PLUG EM!!!!!

My thoughts are, that you should have corrected this guy out in the field on his jumping early. If you are getting a lot of singles, and I assume you still want to hunt with him again, designate the shooter. If there is a pair take the bird on your own side.

Its just that other kids were complaining about him shootin early. I went w/ himtoday, and explained NOT to shoot until i called the shots. I landed about 300 ducks in our hole. (today was youthday)
