Got our 2 man limit of Canada's this morning and was surprised to see this staring back when i picked up my last goose. It is the first banded lesser canada we have ever gotten. And it is my first goose band. needless to say i was pretty excited. It was banded in Nunavut.

I know it sucks!!! I've never seen so many ducks in my life at my holes. 3 days after the season ended, the mallards are EVERYWHERE.

Something thing happened here man. As soon as the season closed all the water locked up and froze and I have Mallards sitting in every field and/or open water I had permission on.

Yeah my holes that were virtually dry are know more full than average. Mallards all over the world are rejoicing. The geese are still under some pressure though.It figures... but thats just the way it works sometimes

Now all we need is earl teal/goose season!

WOW, I'm so jealous of you guys who are still shooting geese...our seasons been over since december. Congrats on the band too!!
