Success under the Snowgoose Conservation Order in east Arkansas.

36 geese here out of 44 (gave 8 away). Got 43 the next day.

We sneak hunt and down ' em with 4 - 3½" BBB' s. Then switch to regular light loads and go after the cripples. The dog REALLY helps cut down on retreiving time.

Sometimes it' s hard, sometimes it' s not.

Some sneaks are in water filled ditches with a high bank that makes it pretty easy. Others in dry ditches with low banks are hard and makes your back hurt. And still others are across a muddy rolled rice field on hands and knees with a small woodline in front of you. Those are pretty rough.

The older we get the easier it becomes ... simply because we don' t do the hard ones anymore. Just drive on and find easier ones.
