I am not sure about the durability. I do know that delrin calls are a little safter sounding. It must be a lesser material to be a little cheaper. I think you would be good with either of the two!

Dude I bought a $20 goose call at walmart and have yet to find anything that can beat it. Theyre probably like $25 now. Ill try to find an add and post it for you. If you want to spend that much why not buy some dekes or something? JMO

i already have that call and can blow it pretty good but when hunting with my buddies ive realized the short reeds work better for bringin em in from further away. flutes sound good up close but form far away they sound like crap

Roger! I would make sure to try whatever call out before you buy it if your going to put that much money into one. I tried one at Cableas that was $200 and I couldnt get the damn thing to make a sound[8D].

first off flutes are junk...... delrin is cheaper i blow calls in comps and acrylics are sharper and can help give a wider range they may cost a little more but are worth the money they last longer and you don't have to worry about the call as much..... plastic and delrin can expand and contract if you leave them in a hot truck acrylics won't..... short reeds are the way to go the variations that they allow you to use when hunting is undenyable don't be cheap and but a cheap call cause the sound is recognizable..... delrin calls work fine but there is a reason comp callers use acrylic
