first off flutes are junk...... delrin is cheaper i blow calls in comps and acrylics are sharper and can help give a wider range they may cost a little more but are worth the money they last longer and you don't have to worry about the call as much..... plastic and delrin can expand and contract if you leave them in a hot truck acrylics won't..... short reeds are the way to go the variations that they allow you to use when hunting is undenyable don't be cheap and but a cheap call cause the sound is recognizable..... delrin calls work fine but there is a reason comp callers use acrylic
