Default Steel Shot

I recently purchased a Beretta 686 Onyx and it is the ducks unlimited edition. I was wondering if I am able to shoot steel shot without ruining the barrel. Also what choke tube should I use for ducks and geese? Thanks!

well, i would go with an improved cylinder, but for geese you can also use a modified very effectively.
steel shot should not ruin it

The side of the choke tube will specifically list whether or not it is recommended for steel. The gun itself will handle steel just fine.

As to constriction, I mostly use an IC, as I mostly hunt ducks and only shoot them as they decoy. For geese or if I am diver hunting on big water, I'll take a Modified or Improved Modified.
