Default Warm Weather?

Guys, I'm just curious what your experience has been with this... I have seen birds come down on either side of a cold front but it is the second week of Dec. and the temperature is in the 70's where I live. I'm worried about there not being any new birds come down. I don't get alot of migrant birds anyway but do you think my concerns are justified? Have any of you guys had any success hunting during unseasonably warm weather?

Default RE: Warm Weather?

up here in wisconsin we had unseasonably warm weather until two weeks before the end of the season. i had a really rough time, and so did the majority of the other guys that hunt around here. we had to get smarter than the local ducks because they had no reason to go and new ones had no reason to migrate down so we were stuck hunting locals for like two months. they are gonna be smart and hard to find, but that doesnt mean that you cant still kill some birds.
